The role of Senior Student Experience Consultant is for high-performing sales professionals who consistently exceed their KPIs. This position not only represents a career progression step but also serves as a recognition of sustained excellence in sales performance.
Your responsibilities will include embodying the duties of a Student Advisor, consistently exceeding KPIs including targets, quality calls, productivity, and compliance, and being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on programs and processes.
As a SME for key programs or entire partners, you will display deep understanding of the student needs, how partner and program value propositions meet those needs, and knowledge of the industries relative to the programs you support.
Your commitment to fostering a positive team culture will be evident as you serve as a mentor for new starters, providing guidance and support during their onboarding process and providing timely and relevant support on student and program related issues. This may include recognising coaching opportunities within the team and working with the Team Leader to contribute to individual and collective skill enhancement.
Key Accountabilities:
- Consistently meet or exceed student enrolment targets (both retention and new acquisition)
- Meet productivity metrics as set with manager (typically 250+ calls per week and 25+ Inbound Calls)
- Consistently achieve 80%+ call quality
- Qualify leads effectively, understanding student needs, and clearly articulating program benefits and career outcomes.
- Use CRM systems to track lead activity, follow-ups, and manage the enrolment pipeline.
- Hit and exceed weekly KPI's and study period targets.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and academic teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Stay up to date with program offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Deep understanding of the full range of postgraduate programs including course structures, entry requirements, and key differentiators
- Ability to clearly articulate the value, outcomes, and career pathways associated with each postgraduate program
- Up-to-date knowledge of program updates, delivery modes (online/on-campus), and industry alignment
- Confident in addressing detailed questions about course content, specialisations, duration, and progression opportunities
- Strong familiarity with admissions criteria, recognition of prior learning (RPL), and pathways into postgraduate study
- Actively keeps informed about trends in postgraduate education
- Ability to clearly articulate the value, outcomes, and career pathways associated with each postgraduate program
- Skilled at matching prospective students’ goals and professional backgrounds with the most suitable program options
