- Subject to operational needs, teaching hours may be scheduled beyond office hours including weekends.

- A distinguished academic record with a PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain significant collaborations within the ICT industry, contributing to impactful outcomes.
- Proven leadership experience in academic program development, research leadership, and fostering industry-academic collaborations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful team leadership and mentorship in academic settings.
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience in a relevant field from a reputed institution. In many cases an honours degree or a three-year degree with postgraduate diploma level.
- Professional qualification in a relevant field or those progressing towards the qualification (if applicable).
- Registration with relevant professional body (if applicable).
- Doctoral degree (preferably by research) in a relevant field from a reputed institution.
- Excellent academic results from pre-university level onwards.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Scholarly publications in journals, proceedings, and books.
- Experience in providing consulting and training services.
