Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure Marketing strategies and initiatives are always aligned with the vision, mission, and core values of the College.
  • Create good branding for the College.
  • Create and ensure communications within the College and with external parties is effective and on a timely manner.
  • Connect with media and build or maintain good relationships with them.
  • Supervise and groom your subordinates.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Marketing & Communications Unit.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies and initiatives that support student enrolment and promote the College’s image.
  • Manage the operations of the Marketing & Communications Unit to meet departmental goals.
  • Coordinate with Heads of Departments and relevant units (e.g., Student Affairs, International Office, University Placement & Alumni) on marketing, promotional activities, and events.
  • Support the implementation of the College’s communication and branding policy to ensure consistent messaging internally and externally.
  • Contribute to the identification of new marketing opportunities and target segments, including support for international marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research and gather intelligence to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Work with the Finance Department to monitor the unit’s budget and ensure expenditures are within approved limits.
  • Prepare periodic management reports on marketing performance and budget utilisation.
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate team members to achieve departmental targets.
  • Assist in the performance review and development planning for subordinates.

Type
  • A Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Preferably with experience in the education sector (e.g., private colleges, universities, international schools)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to work in and lead teams with good time management
