The Human Resource Manager (HRM) is responsible on daily basis for the full spectrum of Human Resource function including Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations and Industrial Relations as well as Office Administrative Duties and other HR related services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Recruitment
- To handle job posting on Jobstreet or any other job advertisement platform.
- Arranging and interview potential candidates for any job vacancies in the school.
- To get the potential candidates to fill up job application form, submission of CV and academic qualification certificates for verification during the interview.
- To Interview a few candidates for the role and upon satisfactory assessment of a potential candidate for the panel’s decision to hire which must the HOD, VP and Principal.
- HRM to compile documentation such as Staff Requisition Form, copies of academic qualifications, CV and interview assessment forms for COE approval of offered salary package via email.
- Upon COE approval of the said candidate, to prepare Letter of Offer for candidate and attach other relevant documents for COE’s final endorsement.
2. Compensation & Benefits
- To provide advice on performance management, salary structure and staff welfare/benefits as and when needed.
3. Training & Employee Relations
- To organize training and activities to promote employee relations for increased morale and productivity on yearly basis.
4. HR Administration
- To review current HR policies and recommend improvements to the current HR policies and procedures on a need basis.
- To conduct exit interview analysis on a monthly basis.
- Recommend Improvement Plans to drive employee engagement and productivity on a yearly basis.
5. Staff Attendance
- Monitoring attendance such as punctuality on daily basis.
- Review staff attendance and leave on monthly and yearly review.
- To do an Analysis Report on weekly basis of persistent absentees whether sick leave or other types of leave.

6. Disciplinary matters
- To investigate and handle all allegations of staff misconduct and to administer appropriate disciplinary actions as and when it arises.
- Conduct Domestic Inquiry as and when needed in accordance to Employment Act.

7. Administration Duties
- Responsible for the Office Administration and willing to be hands-on.
- Carry out any ad-hoc assignments as given by the Management.

8. HR Assistance/Reporting
- To assist the COE office by updating / reporting HR matters for the School in Sentul on a weekly basis with a Weekly Report.
- Assist other Schools on HR matters as and when the need arises.
