• Leading small groups of pupils within a whole class setting that is led and managed by a member of the teaching staff
• Establishing relationships with other staff members in order to support work of pupils
• Attending staff meetings and contributing to the development of the school
• Assisting teachers in developing resources for lessons to ensure accessibility for EAL students
• Preparing and developing resources for learning activities
• Reporting on the progress made by pupils
• Improve English Language acquisition across both the primary and secondary sections of the school. 
• Ensure that the EAL needs of individual students are met
• Ensure that EAL support is holistic and cross-curricular where appropriate
• Ensure that parents have clear and accurate information about their child’s progress.

• Hold a good Honours Degree in related subjects
• Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or similar).
• Have experience and excellent knowledge of teaching IGCSE Level.
• A minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience is essential.
• Understand and be able to articulate what constitutes outstanding learning.
• Want to play an active role in the co-curricular life of a busy international school.
• Possess the ambition, enthusiasm and growth mindset to want to play a key role in shaping and developing a growing and dynamic school.
