The role of the Assistant Teacher – Primary is primarily to support student learning in the classroom, working closely with the Lead Teacher and Co-Teacher. The Assistant Teacher may be assigned to a specific class or to a year group, working with multiple classes as needed.

In addition to supporting academic development, the Assistant Teacher plays a key role in caring for students’ wellbeing and safety—whether in the classroom, on the playground, or in shared spaces like the cafeteria.
